Default The University of Glasgow's Social Category

I want to know which social category you think the University of Glasgow should be placed under.

Party University - This is like a university where the main empthasis is on clubbing, meeting girls and getting drunk. Some universities that would fall under this category would be Leeds and Essex.

Social University - This is a university with a very good social life, but doesn't necessarily place an emphasis on partying. You'd still go clubbing when you want, and get drunk when you want but nobody forces you to do so.

'Average' University - This would be your socially average university. The type of university which represents the vast majority. There would be a 50% split between the social life and the academic life.

'Work hard, play later' University - This would be a university which would be of a similar fashion to Oxford or Cambridge. It would give its students large amounts of work and there would be comparably little emphasis on partying.

Boring University - This would just be a downright boring university. There wouldn't necessarily be any hard work here, but there would be almost no social life to be had. I refuse to name any universities, but I'm sure you know which ones I'm talking about.

So where would Glasgow fit into?

How many St andrews student does it take to screw in a lightbulb?
12, 1 to screw it in 11 to get mummy and daddy to pay for it

How many Edinburgh students does it take to screw in a lightbulb?
12, 1 to screw it in 11 to write an essay about it

How many Strathclyde students does it take to screw in a lightbulb?
12, 1 to screw it in 11 to have a protest about it

How many Glasgow students does it take to screw in a lightbulb?
12, 1 to screw it in 11 to have a party for it

but by the way its impossible to categorise uni's like that.

and actually now i think about it if you've never been to uni how could you possibly make assertions such as essex and leeds like to party but oxford and cambridge dont like to
