Edexcel Geography AS Revision Guide

Hi, I'm doing Edexcel AS Geography, and I was wondering if anyone knows of any revision guides directly related to this syllabus? I'm struggling with geography due to all the little topics just merging together so I don't know what exactly to revise!

I've had a quick look online, but I can't find any specific Edexcel ones. Anyone know??

Thanks!

sorry but i find those little books really hard! i've got them and its just way too much information packed into a little book and its so long to read.
I'm having the same problem its just too many little things and the case studies are everywhere!!!

I did both those exams last year and bought both of the books listed and found them to be pretty poor, paticularly the Global Investigation one. For me, revising from the blue Philip Allan text book which is very indepth was considerably easier. I thought they lacked comprehensive coverage and skimmed over some of the issues.

I guess they do provide a basic outline, from which you can make notes from and add to with regards to Unit 1; flash cards for case studies, spider-diagrams for key concepts and the links etc. With Unit 2, it is very much down to what you have done in terms of fieldwork - for that paper, practise questions is probably the most effective way of revising.

I just think hey give you too much i suppose. I wish they could just give all the real information that will come up in the exam, im finding it way to difficult and i have a real passion for geography i just wish it weren't this hard! I've made revision cards on globalisation but that took me very long to and to be honest it really wasn't helpful. I just need to know a couple of case studies not all of them i don't know which one's to pick also there are too many compulsory ones ahhhhhhhhh

Hi... I'm doing this course - there is so much to know :frown:

For Geographical Investigations I am doing Rebranding places and Extreme Weathers

For World at Risk and Globalisation... what are the compulsory case studies again?

World at Risk:
The Philippines
California
- Thats the only ones I know of
Wish these exams came after the May week off.

Looking at the page numbers in the suggested books - there are loads! - the equivalent of the text book!

I am using this textbook -

but I think my teacher has used some parts from this book -->

I got full marks in both Geography AS exams last year using pretty much only the guides which I listed above; like I said, I found them amazing!
