Is it really that ******* hard?
The only person I know who got in through the Special Access Scheme is terminally ill and spends a lot of time in hospital... meaning that they didn't take a gazillion GCSEs etc and don't have a lot of the extra curricular guff that people pad out their PS with. The exams that person took were all gained at A/A* though. It is supposed to be about exceptional circumstances that can be proved and not just a cop out for laziness or poor performance.

Yes, but you also asked a slew of idiotic questions that anyone with a basic understanding of how to use a keyboard, mouse and Google could have answered within a minute or so.
You need a reason to use the scheme. Having one would be a start.
I applied through CSAS, and am an offer-holder. It can get you a slightly lower offer (I got a fairly surprising offer myself). My difficulties were mostly in my early A-levels being self-taught, which in itself is minor, but then being locked into their very low UMS with a transfer of credit necessary to go to my present college.

I applied through CSAS, and got an offer for Economics with AAAB at As-level, and average UMS of abt. 85%, probably much less than most applicants where about 1 in 7 get an offer.

My offer was standard though, and not really sure whether CSAS helped or my college didn't really mind about lowish AS's.

My reason was illness in exams, and you have to get your school to write about it

hopes this helps

If you were so say what then people may be able to give you better advice, as long as it is not too intrusive.

A in Chemistry, Physics or Further Maths (for Bio NatSci, with A-levels Maths and Biology both A's, 91% and 84.7% respectively). All my other offers specify Chemistry.

well it mentions problems at home etc...well i live alone and am constantly having to sort things out like somewhere to live... money etc.

also, terminal illness in the family has kinda ****** me up too.

would these things count?

not very detailed i know but yea..

It's probably too early but surely there's no harm in calling/emailing admissions to ask them about it.
