Deloitte Numeracy/Verbal Retest

hi

I got an interview with deloitte and in the email it says about deloittes retesting policy of numeracy/verbal tests and that this may be done before the interview and if you fail you basically have to go home!

Does this retest actually get done or is it randomly done i.e. 1 in every 10 persons?

I didn't get retested at any stage and there wasn't even a suggestion of it. Sorry, that doesn't really help you but its all i can offer!

No thats good to hear! It just seems stupid saying at this stage you "may" be retested as i dont know whether to prepare and dont have time to, saying this before people apply acts as a shock tactic forcing ppl to do it themselves (which i did anyway).

Any more experiences?

I think they probably randomly retest some people but I wasn't one of them. And I think you're right, it must be to scare people into taking the test themselves as inevitably there will be a small minority who will cheat. Don't worry too much about it, if you pass the test first time chances are you will pass second time too!
