Aside from Aston and Bath, Loughborough and Surrey both have extensive placement programmes.
You can go anywhere on a course and have a placement year just use what they call a 'temporary withdrawal' for a year between your 2nd and 3rd years and apply for placement programmes or just to companies for a 10-12 month placement/training scheme. And that way you also wont have to do all the academic work as well as the fulltime job. UWE has excellent Business facilities, teachers, course and Placements Centre as well as links with employers.
