Default BTEC in health and social care anyone?

I'm currently doing a BTEC National Diploma in Health and Social Care and have so many assignments to do I dunno where to start. My college is so useless though I really have no idea how I'm going to get through this work, we don't really have lessons, it's just go off and research it yourself. I'm finding it really hard.
Anyone who's on this course... what books/websites/journals or whatever have you found useful for your work? Because I can't see myself getting throught this with just my brain and no resources lol.

Thanks!
Hmm we have to research a lot!
The main thing being legislation, I can find information on the main ones but it's the ones like Hazardous Waste Regulations and Environment Protection Regulations among others I am having trouble with. Also, we sometimes have to research the main legislation in loads of detail, I can find basic information on them but not lots of detail.
urmm what else... challenging behaviour, social learning theory (psychology), strategies to prevent abuse in adults, sociology - patterns of health and illness, care planning, legislation that affects care planning, multi-disciplinary working.
Oh dear, there's a whole long list there
I have to write pages on each topic...

I'm doing an OCR National Diploma in Health and Social Care, which is basically the same as a BTEC but with a different exam board. Have you not been given a textbook to help you? I had a textbook for the first year to help me with the 4 mandatory units and my teacher always gives us photocopies and booklets to help us start our research. The best thing to do is just Google stuff when you need it and you'll find loads of websites to help you. Have a look in your college/local library aswell for books that might be helpful. There's a hell of a lot of work to get through tho, it drives me insane, I can't wait to finish in 2 months time!

I was given a textbook last year, but the course textbook this year didn't have many of my subjects in so there wasn't much point in buying it. My tutors are crap so they don't give us much ahah. That list is only half of the work :/
I can't wait to finish too, I'm counting down the days.
Yeah I will have a look in the college library to see if there is anything.

Eurgh I did those units last year.
I'm doing Psychology at the moment.
And am also doing Research Methodology, Dementia Care, Counselling, Support Work in Care, Supporting and Protecting Adults, Values and Planning and Vocational Experience.
I don't think I'm going to get what I need for uni either. I hate this course too and am going mad with the amount of work I have!
