Talking April 21st 'Visit Day' - what did you think of it?
 
I thought I would make a thread to see who's gonna go to this open day on April 21st.

Has anyone got a confirmation email yet? I booked online a few days ago but I am still waiting. LSE seem to take a long time processing things like these...

Hey guys, thanks for replying.

I would have have thought that they would have sent something by now, I mean I have to travel on the train to get to London and I don't want to buy my tickets yet as I don't even know if there are places. It's going to be very expensive when I get my tickets especially since my course is in the morning session, peak hours with no real advance reservation.

Yea I noticed that too, I suppose they are busy this time of the year.
Anyways, I'll be at the open day if I receive the confrmation.

I got the confirmation today. I found it weird that they're advertising Twitter (and also advertising ON Twitter).

Got my email today but...WTF 9:30am
The Twitter thing at the end is bizzare, maybe the admin are too busy using Twitter and Facebook that's why everything takes so ****ing long!

btw did anyone notice the name of the student recruitment officer who sent the email... Alice Else

ok I guess it was pretty bad...

According to the programme, they're only doing tours around High Holborn, although I don't see why you can't look around the other halls too by yourself - probably select 2 or 3 though as it will be time consuming.

Haha unlucky, mine's at 1.30 I think I'll go into London at around 9ish though!

Yeah but that was a general one with a lot of focus on applying/getting in. I'm assuming this one will be more course/life at LSE related. Plus I went alone to the other one and my parents want to go too, so I'll take one of them on the April one.

Yeah, it can be a mate. Lots of people took this option for the March open day.
