Oxford brooks? Why?
Best uni's in UK for CS:
Edinburgh (best research)
Manchester (second best research and great facilities)
Southampton (great research and the best facilities i ever saw)
Sheffield
York
Bristol(? - i heard its quite good)

Check the league tables for computing...not many do web tech within the cs degree though...soton does....but others prefer 'hard core' cs lol.

where's Imperial in the list?? lol

yeah. OP what do you mean experience in Web Technology? Is it as in programming/developing websites? or creating the language for the Web Technology, developing architectures and what not.

if the former, then CS is not really going to indulge much in "web technology" (but some do though as AshleyT has stated). But the latter yes. Especially in Software Engineering courses

I'm fairly sure the MSc IT course (or possibly MSc HCI) at York has a web design module. We have no MSc specifically for "web technologies" though.

Soton does have MSc in Web Science and Web technology course.

They have 2 couses

1. Web Technology:

2.Web Science

Anything which can come closer to this course which is better than soton?

Although under-rated in the league tables King's College has a very good computing department and quite well respected therefore I would go for King's but my views biased

Bristol do MScs in Internet Technologies with multimedia and with security. Although I can't really comment on how relevant they are to those areas. As you want to do something quite specialised some of the newer unis may actually be better.
