Re: Dress Me - A Fun New F&B Thread!(Original post by Meltdown30)
Me:
5ft 3
Size 8-10
Hourglass - substantial boobs, hips and bum but small waist
I like:
bright colours
patterns
I don't like/don't suit:
black
halternecks (bony shoulders)
anything backless or that I can't wear a strapless bra with (I'm an odd bra size so I'm limited to what bra companies decide to make for me!)
Sporty/too casual stuff (hoodies, jogging bottoms etc.)
I made one for you!

It looks like there's only a small triangle of space at the top of the dress, so no backless-ness!
and I included the cardigan because you said that you think you have bony shoulders
sorry if it's awful I've never made a set before!

Re: Dress Me - A Fun New F&B Thread!thank youuuu! I love those shoes and the skirt is mega cute!(Original post by .x.jen.x.)
Can we play with stuff that's stupidly expensive? Just to give outfit looks we think for the person and not necessarily the specific items?
I just created this "look" as something i think minimo would look cute in, but realised after everything is stupidly expensive

I guess it's probs best if we stick to more realistic items?
I think it's perfectly fine to play around with expensive stuff coz it'll still give people style ideas.
I'm craaaaap at polyvoring (yes I am that inept!!) so hopefully links will be ok
http://www.next.co.uk/shopping/women...toccasion/31/4 I think this dress would look cute on you (obviously without the jeans...especially with your pearl earrings
and with blonde hair
this levis top with your JW grey jeans?

I'll throw myself in.
6'2" and 65 kilos.
So tall and skinny, but fairly broad shoulders and what little there is of me is well cut. Don't look scrawny or emaciated at all. Long legs. Medium/short hair, very dark brown. Occasionally wear solid frame glasses.
T-shirts, typically an S but will drop to XS if necessary. M tends to be baggy, especially in button down shirts. I have fairly long arms so will usually opt for items with long arms for the size, or stuff that can be rolled up and still look nice.
Jeans, aim for a 30/34 but 30/36 is ideal. 29/34 is very wearable too. Either skinny or straight. Dark washes, and really dislike jeans with a lot of pre-wear, silly little details or garish stitching. Like selvedge denim.
Footwear, size 11. Boots, shoes and tasteful trainers all good. Favourite shoes are Office Oxfords. Favourite boots are Ikon Beatle Boot style things. Favourite trainers are Dunlop Green Flash or Adidas Stan Smith in kelly green.
Particular likes:
Checked shirts.
Cardigans.
High top trainers.
Slim, stiff looking jeans.
Quality socks.
Close fitting items.
Pumps.
Fitted shirts and t-shirts.
Clean cut, simple style.
Low cut necks, but not deep vs.
Dislikes:
G-Star, Henley, etc. That look.
Indie victims.
Stupid details or prints.
A quick outfit I'd wear:

Small waist
Big thighs
Size 12
Brown eyes and black hair
Likes:

Hates:
The majority of things from Topshop... anything that kind of style

Tulip skirts/dresses
Shorts
Trousers/jeans
Anything I can't wear a bra with... my badboys need the support!
Chavwear
Tracksuits
Hoodies
Anything blue

Puffball skirts/dresses
I really need to branch out and start wearing more colours, so things with a bit of colour would be great! Although not too colourful i.e yellow. -
Re: Dress Me - A Fun New F&B Thread!
Ooo. I love this.
Stats:
5ft3 (just)
Brown curly hair, blonde highlights scattered about. Hair can look quite ginger sometimes, too.
Hazel eyes
Size 8 on top, 10 on bottom (8 in skirts sometimes... all dresses are size 8 too)
Non-existant boobs, big bum and thighs, small waist. Oddly proportioned
Really pale (deathly so)- cannot wear white for this reason
Likes
Skirts and dresses
Nice shoes
Dresses with pockets (there's something so charming about them)
Jeans
Long tops
Flats- because I have a 2 mile walk to college every day
Heels for going out
Converses
Dislikes
Showing off my thighs. I have to wear tights if my legs are on show- although I do wear a lot of quite short skirts and dresses.
Tracksuits
Gold jewellery
Pink things (too much pink. I could probably wear a little pink)
Polo/turtle necks... (just depends what you choose to call them)
Rings- cannot wear them, they just don't suit meLast edited by Rennie; 29-03-2009 at 12:44. -
Re: Dress Me - A Fun New F&B Thread!
This sounds like the BEST FUN EVER

Stats:
5ft3
30A
6/8 in dresses and tops, 8 in trousers and skirts
My bum/hips look disproportionately huge because I have no meat at all on my upper body
I have browny-greeney eyes and nipple-length (
) dark brown messy/wavy hair + fringe
Likes:
This time last year I had barely any black clothes, somehow my wardrobe now seems to be 70% black? I want more colour!
I wear lots of flowery dresses and high-waisted skirts
Party dresses in the day-time = a key look
I love floaty puffy skirts and I'm STILL searching for the perfect petticoat
I get a lot of my clothes from the charity shop - my "look" (I feel so stupid saying that!) is quite random, nothing ever seems to match properly AND I LIKE THIS (think floaty princess dress worn with a children's PJ top...okay I sound really weird now)
OH AND TIGHTS. I love tights. Colours, patterns, whatever - I just love them. (particularly the new flowery ones in Topshop, hinthint)
Dislikes:
Yellow and pale pink look kind of weird on me.
I always look slightly dishevelled - even if I'm wearing a fitted skirt+smart top, somehow I still manage to look like I've just been on a 10 mile jog. So I don't think primness works on me!
...that's about it? I like most stuff. -
Re: Dress Me - A Fun New F&B Thread!
Mind if I hop in too?
Stats
5"10/11
Blondy/browny hair, should length, fair bit of volume
Size 10, sometimes size 8
Quite lanky
Average sized boobs - but definitely not big!
Likes
Colour! I have a fair few multi coloured items in my wardrobe
Dresses
Retro tops
Brightly coloured cardigans
Coloured tights
Flats normally, unless they are particulary special heels. I end up slouchy in heels due to feeling like a 6"2 Amazonian woman...
Jeans
Big slouchy hoodies
Flip flops
Gold
Dislikes
"Baby" colours
Light grey
Any trousers which aren't jeans
Knee length skirts
Anything "chavvy"
Trackies
I'll have a go at doing someone later, after I have done a ton of revision

Re: Dress Me - A Fun New F&B Thread!
Sounds like a good idea

I'm 5ft1, light brown shoulder length hair, size 12 on top and 10 on bottom, average boobs (but they look bigger coz I'm so short), bit of a tummy
I like stuff that's fitted over my boobs but skims my tummy, not hugely confident with short skirts but would like to try a nice one, ditto with pretty dresses, anything that makes me look taller or not short and fat is good!
Don't like some of the really modern stuff like topshop stuff, need to keep away from black and white as I wear it far too much as well.
I'd really like a summery dress, quite casual, like some of the tea dresses etc that people have been putting on here, if anyone can help? -
