Default Consultancy Without Internship/Strong Work Experience - Final Year Undergrad

Hi everyone,

I've recently decided that I want to follow a career in management consultancy. Being in my final year of a Geography degree at Bristol, I have no internship or particularly strong work experience as a consequence of only just finding consultancy as a possible career path. I'm looking for advice on my next steps, as I feel that without work experience I've got no chance. Are there any internships available to graduates, as those that I've found so far are generally aimed at penultimate students only? Would it be better to make speculative work experience applications in an attempt to get whatever I can, such as work shadowing?

Any help would be much appreciated.
