Convert the number of moles of ethanoic acid you have to mass of ethanoic acid. After that, get volume of ethanoic acid using the density and mass. Tha volume, dividied by the volume of the sample equals the percentage by volume.

Thanks, I realized afterwards and that's what I did. So it sounds good! :biggrin:
I wish people wouldn't remove their question once it's solved...firstly it may be of help to others and it gives others a chance to check the answer was correct.
