Default Perfectly good day ruined - Warning, it will make you sad!
 
I have had a really good day at work, feeling good about myself, driving home listening to music enjoying the sun and get stuck in a bit of traffic. Next to the road is a really nice park area with a stream and kids playing/dogs being walked etc so I'm not too bothered about the traffic then what I saw next is what ruined my day.

There was a duck laying dead at the side of the road, obviously had been hit by a car not long before I drove past it and stood next to it was what I assume was her partner nudging her with his beak to try and get her to move, he was constantly glancing behind him at the traffic scared of his own safety.

I could actually cry right now

I was going to have duck from the chinese tonight but I won't in memory of Mrs Duck and her Husband.

Maybe the "partner" was actually a cannibalistic duck, and was glancing nervously at the traffic for it to be quiet so it could devour the other duck?
