    Spotify Discussion and Playlists
    http://www.spotify.com/en/

try it, simple username/password sign up then download the program.

small program, very itunes like. search and listen to music, everything streams quickly (scroll through a track and you'll see how quick it is) and everything is free.

very good collection of artists on there, everything i've searched for so far has had something, ranging from full albums to eps/live albums

[COLOR="Red"]Also please can we not spam the thread up asking for invites all the time as it has gone back to invite only.

I was just going to post something about Spotify. Hmm... I searched for Kate Bush and it didn't have that many songs. I'll have to check it out some more. Anyone else having anything good or bad to say about Spotify?

Just started playing around with this today. So far I'm quite impressed. You can get around the invitation thing by just going to:
    https://www.spotify.com/en/get-started/

Currently listening to some Rush. Classic.

    Spotify: free, legal music.

Edit: Bypass the the invite stage: https://www.spotify.com/en/get-started/

    Guys,

I found Spotify today (still in private BETA). It allows you select and listen to any music you want instantly: type in the artist, select the track, and the track will play. No downloading, no waiting to buffer. And best of all it's completely legit.

Spotify is a new way to enjoy music. Simply download and install, before you know it you’ll be singing along to the genre, artist or song of your choice. With Spotify you are never far away from the song you want.

There are no restrictions in terms of what you can listen to or when. Forget about the hassle of waiting for files to download and fill up your hard drive before you get round to organising them. Spotify is instant, fun and simple.

Because music is social, Spotify allows you to share songs and playlists with friends, and even work together on collaborative playlists, Friday afternoon in the office might never be the same again! We’re music lovers like everyone else.

We want to connect millions of people with their favorite songs by creating a product that people love to use. We respect creativity and believe in fairly compensating artists for their work. We’ve cleared the rights to use the music you’ll listen to in Spotify.
I have 5 invites for the private BETA, if anyone wants one.

Here, get it free no matter what country you are in... and if you are in the UK just go to:

    https://www.spotify.com/en/get-started/

You don't need the beta code :P

    Mr Snips,

Apparently you can bypass the invite and go straight here. If you want the invite code for the novelty you can drop me your email.
