[SOLVED] Past paper question involving the corrosion of iron nail

EDIT: Got the answer, C. Cheers anyway!

Hey, I'm doing the 2004 Higher Chemistry past paper for revision, but I'm already stuck

Would anyone be able to give me a hand with Question 2 in the multiple choice please?

I think it has something to do with the reactivity series, but not sure where to go from there

Cheers!

Attached a picture of the question, sorry for the poor quality!

Well, electrons always flow from the more reactive metal to the less reactive metal, so it's an oxidation reaction. So, that means the iron nail will offer protection for the copper, and itself corrode quicker. This means that the asnwer is C..

SG stuff!!! (I've probably got it wrong...lol)

EDIT: You already got it.

Yeah, revise galvanising and sacrificial stuff. Corrosion is basically just oxidation.
