Seriously is the OCR chemistry 2854 a synoptic paper?

    Seriously is the OCR chemistry 2854 a synoptic paper?
    Do we actually have to revise EVERYTHING from previous modules or do we just have to stick to the syllabus for 2854 - which is by its own right a synoptic module (it seems to be).
    I'm getting very worried, plz help.

    It's kind of synoptic; you are meant to remember some things in AS, especially the calculations and the stuff in Chemical Ideas, but a lot of the Chemical Storylines content you'll only need the A2 from.

    Noo it's not a totally synoptic paper.You just need to recall some basic principles like calculations and then it's basically just a build up on some bits of AS..Is it just my college that havent actually started teaching it yet... >.< I am well worried..

    Yeah, not totally synoptic, only a little bit.
    Our college has done the modules CD, AA, O; only MD is left. Your college has left it a bit late if none of them have been covered.

    AA = Aspects of Agriculture
    O = The Oceans
    MD = Medicine by Design
    (VCI = Visiting the Chemical Industry)

    These make up Unit 2854.
