I confess I did spend a year being too shy/embarrassed to say hi to hoofbeat in lectures. Meets could also be quite awkward if there was no-one you know there yet. "Hi, are you the bunch of randomers off the internet?"

As I think I've said before, though, TSR is a great way of stalking incoming applicants. One managed to insult me and incur my wrath even before he arrived and he still has no idea who I am

Don't you just hate it when you're the only one up, the rest of the house is dark and spider large enough that you can hear it move on the wooden floor through the silence runs under the door and comes straight at you...

I first met Drogue knowing that he was from TSR but not at a meet - at the FRESHERS FAIR He told us all that he'd be at the AIESEC stall and be the only one in an orange AIESEC t-shirt because they only had one, so I went and whispered...

Drogue added me on Facebook ages before I actually knew who he was. I'm still not sure how he found me (although I guess I was a more active TSRer back then), but when I did go to a meet that he was also at, the penny dropped that we'd been Facebook friends for about a year already, haha.
Ugh, scouts are so annoying. Couldn't sleep last night, so decided to give myself a lie in to recover, so that I wouldn't be too tired to revise. Guess what? Scouts have 45 min long conversation outside my door at 8.30am. Grrr.

Our awful scout from first year used to come in around 9-10am, empty the bins, then either chat to the next door building's scout or on the phone for hours in our common room. She'd then disappear around lunchtime, leaving her scarf and coat and then reemerge around 3pm to collect said scarf and coat.

There were spiders as big as my palm in last year's accommodation. One crept up on me in the shower Another time one decided to sit on my door for a few hours and none of the boys would get rid of it for me
