Re: Bras?? (Girls Only)Still wouldn't fit(Original post by blinkbelle)
They go up to a FF now
but good they've decided to go up on their cup sizes!
I've had so much trouble with getting measured in the past - everywhere gives me a different size, sort of had to figure it out myself. Now wear a 30GG but have been measured as a 34DD etc...
And no, no bra in bed!Last edited by Hattie.; 19-12-2009 at 23:19. -
Re: Boobs, Lingerie & Bra Questions Thread (Continued)For fitting, John Lewis. Debenhams seems to be hit or miss.(Original post by Handbag)
John Lewis or Debenhams?
Debenhams generally has a larger range of bras, with lower prices. John Lewis has their own brand (with a good size selection) but the other brands they stock are more expensive. -

Re: Boobs, Lingerie & Bra Questions Thread (Continued)
Hmm I went to Bravissimo yesterday for a fitting. I go for fittings regularly but usually go to M+S or John Lewis. Anyway I've been wearing a 32F when apparently I am a 28GG! I was impressed with the lady who did the fitting, she really knew her stuff and I know that really the sizes are almost equivalent, but 28GG is a bugger of a size to find!
I'm not really asking anything, just ranting... -
Re: Boobs, Lingerie & Bra Questions Thread (Continued)
I'm quite irritated with Bravissimo right now. Bought a bra after a fitting but got it home and it turned out it was too loose around the back. The way she had tugged it down in the shop made it look like it fitted but I only had it on for a couple minutes. Now that I'm wearing it around for a day at a time it just rides up constantly
Waste of £30. Now i've got to go back and get in in a 30 instead, can't afford it though

Bravissimo are fairly leniant when it comes to this sort of thing, take it back to the shop, with a recipt, and show them its the wrong fit and i'm sure they'll do an exchange, they have for me many times, even after 2 weeks of having the bra! -
Re: Boobs, Lingerie & Bra Questions Thread (Continued)So they don't mind about labels? Surely it depends on the chain? Plus I've had it for quite a while now so they would probably blame fluctuations or something... On the website it says they have to be unworn with labels still attached(Original post by foamyfruit)

Re: Boobs, Lingerie & Bra Questions Thread (Continued)
Quick question guys - I am a 4"11 and like a size 8...I have been wearing 32B now for agesssss and ALL of my bras are from la senza. They just don't seem to fit right though? I am pretty small - and I don't think it's the cup size because i'm hardly spilling out, but I went in to la senza the other day and tried on a 30C and a 34A because I figured I should see if either fit better - the 30 was too tight and the 34 too big, but the 32B just still doesn't feel right...I have the whole red lines under my boobs thing when I take the bras off. Thoughts? Just don't get bras from la senza? :/ It's not like I need the support being a smallie :P but I do wish I could take my bra off without looking red raw underneath...if it helps the lines are mainly around the edges of the cup, like underneath and a little bit round the back. Thanks for any advice

Re: Boobs, Lingerie & Bra Questions Thread (Continued)
found out two weeks ago that, depending on the style, i'm a 30d/dd?! i don't look anywhere near that big, but the bras i've got form m&s fit like a dream.
but where else can i get a nice, non-t-shirt bra for under 15 quid? i have two, but i hate really covered up or heavily padded bras.
i go back to kingston/london today so the world is my oyster for shopping, but money's a wee bit tight
do bravissimo have better sales in stores/department stores than online? -

i've always had trouble with la senza.
what do you mean by too tight? i've been lead to believe that when you buy a bra it should fit snug, and stay put without using the straps, on the loosest catch, as it'll stretch a bit over time. -
Re: Boobs, Lingerie & Bra Questions Thread (Continued)I'd go to Debenhams as they have so much choice and stock some of the same brands as places like Bravissimo too. They still had quite a bit of good sale stuff yesterday too.(Original post by watermelon sugar)

Re: Boobs, Lingerie & Bra Questions Thread (Continued)
What does everyone think of showing the sides of your bra? I just got a vest top that doesn't reveal much cleavage but is deep-cut on the sides, so you can see that part of the bra (not the cup). All my bras are nice and lacey but I still think it might be tacky...
