Default Need Urgent Help with applying!

I have given GCE O levels with 1A,2B's,4C's and a D along with the Internet based Toefl with a score of 96 plus the SAT reasoning test with a score of 1640. I have also received my high school graduation diploma with an overall B grade but during my final year of the high school I messed up myself by dropping sciences and taking arts subjects after the first semester. I have only given an A level in Urdu with an A and will give A level Economics and AP Calculus AB in May/June. I want to pursue a degree in engineering at a good UK university like Warwick or UCL but don't have the required A levels for it. Should I apply for a deferred entry/new application for 2010 by giving the A levels in Physics and Chemistry in June 2010 or should I pursue a science foundation programme at a good university like Warwick, UCL or Bristol and then apply through UCAS. Btw will my GCSE's affect my entry to good universities if applying to either foundation or undergraduate degree.

Thanks in advance

First of all if we are talking engineering UCL and Warwick are not good universities. Then, applying for deffered wont do anything as you still dont have the subjects. I would advice you to do a foundation year where your chances are better. Otherwise take some courses in Maths and Physics next year and apply for 2010 entry in the winter. Still, I think foundation year is going to be a better option.
Out of curiosity where do you study, it seems like a mixture of US and UK high school systems from what you said
