Beer-Lambert Law
I'm doing work on UV/Vis spec and want to explain how the Beer-Lambert law has been derived from the Beer Law and the Lambert Law, stating these two laws first. However, I'm really confused by all the sources since every time I look up "Beer Law" or "Lambert Law" it gives me the Beer-Lambert equation.
Could anybody give me the definition and equation for the Beer Law and the Lambert Law? Thanks in advance.

I think the beer law/lambert law/beer-lambert law is really just one law - only the name of it varies, I certainly haven't seen separate laws associated with each name individually.
