Like most of you guys, it's all dependent on the grades for me! I'd be looking to apply to EP or PPP. Tbh I don't think I stand much of a chance, but I'd hate to be left with that 'what if' feeling - if I apply and get rejected then at least that dilemma is answered... plus, I can't actually think of 5 unis I'd want to go to.

haha look at all of you and your potential AAA offer, I bet quite a few of you would have applied to Cambridge until they changed to A*AA.

I am going to apply for human sciences, probably in St Catharines college. I'm taking five AS subjects at the moment, all are predicted As apart from one which is a C...I'm hoping that won't kill my chances...

I've always preferred Oxford. The change to Cambridge's offer only made me relieved that i didn't prefer it.

Heyyy prospective (on both sides ) course/college/year/whatever -mates!

Just wanted to drop by and let you know that if you have any questions (especially regarding the E&M application process), just ask me, and I'll try to answer them to the best of my knowledge. Feel free to PM me as well, but remember that posting questions on this thread is always more helpful since that way others get the advice as well.

Why did you put Oxford as your Insurance, when their offer conditions are higher than those of your Firm?

That wasn't aimed at you, but someone who wanted to apply to "Oxbridge". Such people would be swayed by the prospect of not having to get an A*. Anway you will probably have more competition next year so good luck.

I didn't want to go anywhere else, and always thought that maybe if I have a huge change of heart that if they are the insurance they are more likely to still let me go if I were to get released from Warwick. I also wasn't sure at the time if my b at AS a part of the offer meant I needed a b in french this year, which I'm pretty certain I won't get. Evidently it did not mean that, and my fourth A2 covers this requirement.

Hello just thought I'd pop in and say good luck to everyone. I was in your position last year and am now a happy offer holder who will, grades permitting, be studying History at Brasenose next year. If anyone wants to ask about the History application process feel free.

Yup, same as everyone, it's all dependent on the AS grades. If all goes well though, I'd like to give the History / Politics course a shot

Actually your offers don't come for a while. You have to be picked, assessed, interviewed and then they take a few weeks to make their decision.

You certainly wont get your offers in September/October...More than likely not even till after christmas as you could get pool'ed first.
