Aye, point taken. Long as they're going hard at the core lifts it's not an issue.

Haha coool, i just read your profile and it said you played rugby for some kind of solihull team? That's where i'm from lol, it's just easier to put Birmingham on here because no ones ever heard of Solihull, lol.
But yeahh, thanks for your help
Yeah Birminham Solihull it used to be called, they are now the Pertemp Bees though.
I think they use Solihull Rugby club as a feeder club for them.

Your not one of those people thats from Solihul, bu really 'from the Wood' are you lol

Squats & military press. As heavy as you can safely do without compromising on technique.

Deadlifts, Olympic lifts and front squats are all great too.

This is what I do. Approx 4 times a week. With a day break in-between weights.

Warm-up (10 mins on treadmill, usually walking at highest elevation)
Cardio (treadmill, a mile in 9 mins)
Weights etc. (50 crunches, then all round the equipment, lunges, squats, etc with weights)
    Same cardio
    Same weights
    Cardio again
    Weights again

    With lots of stretching inbetween.

Body type is skinnyfat but not that bad, just want to carry on getting better.

Am a health food nut anyway. Usually eat cereal + fruit for brekkie, a sandwichy lunch, and a cooked meal for dinner (pasta, or something usually) with snacks dotted around (am a grazer). Lots of herbal teas.

    Any tips? This ok?

Goal: better body all over, better health (am running marathon next year for a charity)

    Thanks for the post.

My diet is pretty much the same, but i snack on crap lol.
    biscuits are my downfall
Today i've had cheerios for breakfast, a chicken and stuffing sandwich for lunch, and i've got homemade spag bol for dinner in about half an hour.
I had two chocolate digestives with my cuppa earlier too :/

I seriously need to start doing some more exercise, i want to do something fun like kickboxing or something, i had a gym membership for a while but i got soooo bored in there lol.

50 crunches isn't going to do much, the common mistake people make is 'Oh my gawd, need to slim my midsection, must do crunches and situps'

To trim it off you need to reduce overall bodyfat.

Squats, deadlifts & overhead press will more than take care of your core area as it has to stabalise you through the movement, hence why freeweigths are better than machines

lies - your from the wood really arn't you lol

Do you have huge hoop earings, far to much foundation and a particular penchant to hanging around the wood trying to score a fiver for some fags (I jest of course, thats only the girls 12-15)

    A: Cool, good call

B: Sweet addiction can be quashed through proper diet, when you don't feel so hungry you don't want to snack on high sugar foods giving you an insulin spike - its all a gradual chance and willpower baby!
