Haha, my Mum is getting her knickers in a twist about what she should wear for the graduation ceremony.
We have never done this before and don't really know what to expect.
Is there anyone who knows and is prepared to share what their Mum will be wearing? She is worried that she will turn up in something way too casual or way too formal and be a bit conspicuous.

I know what you mean! I am having trouble finding my own outfit. Have a look at peoples graduation pics on facebook hehe!
My mum is dressing in what I would describe as going to work kind of formal - smart but not MEGA smart. My friend says her mum is wearing black trousers and a nice blouse.

Thanks guys -so we'll aim for something between jeans and a ball gown! Maybe a suit or dress and jacket?
Dark skirt or trousers and a white blouse should be right for us "graduands", although I have seen some girls who looked really nice in black and white dresses.
Plus of course we must not forget the famous Lancaster weather - it may need to be wellies and a fleece.
