Capitalist conspiracy?

I see the Jews have you fooled.

indeed, and notice how israel was one of the first countries to report the flu - obvious ploy to throw off suspicion.

We should call it jew flu.

"Falling short of elaboration, Indonesian Health Minister Siti Fadilah Supari said on Tuesday that the deadly swine flu virus could have been genetically engineered. She had earlier accused Western governments of making and spreading viruses in developing countries to boost pharmaceutical companies' profits.

Since 2006, Indonesia has refused to share all of its bird flu virus samples with WHO researchers, citing fears that the system is being abused by rich countries to produce profitable vaccines, which impoverished nations have to buy.

The fact that the new virus causing an avian-human-swine flu first occurred in Mexico -- where pigs and birds are rarely raised together -- has also raised suspicion that the rare combination of more than two different flu viruses could have been genetically-engineered as a form of bio-weaponry.

From where did you quote this?

This premise is more interesting than the one in your OP.

Sorry if i sound dumb but maybe im not understanding this.

Are you agreeing with this conspiracy? or in your opinion do you think the goverments are just milking this for all its worth to cover up whatever other world problems are currently going on?

No, I was just quoting that article to throw another twist to my original theory in to the plot. I have given a premise. Obviously I have no proof for my assertions but it seems very plausible to me. At least the article proves that my theory has more creedance than perhaps some people posting here have given it credit for.

Please, you're going to make people question things.

We wouldn't want that now would we?

Yeah, caus governments love spending millions on solving the problems created by a pandemic.

I recently watched a cool movie called Outbreak and now I have nightmares!

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0114069/

A deadly airborne virus finds its way into the USA and starts killing off people at an epidemic rate.

It turns out that it was created by the US government.

Are you a Marxist? Seeing as so few people have died, relative to regular flu and other diseases, it does seem strange that such a fuss has been made about it.

The pathogen is readily transmitted and highly pathogenic, irrespective of how many people have been affected now it still poses a huge threat to mankind.

jannike
As the recession is worldwide, a disease that appears to be spreading worldwide is the ideal cover-up.

The recession is still here to stay irrespective of how many people get ill and die in between, a brief distraction maybe, cover-up, certainly not.

Dealing with a pandemic is extremely expensive, not to mention the fact that intentionally killing off the working classes and taxpayers, the people supporting the economies isn't exactly a bright idea. Also imposing travelling/movement bans to contain the disease actually harms economies. So you could say that Swine Flu isn't convenient, in fact it's come at the worst possible time.

jannike
Also, despite its high profile in the media at the moment, authorities are reluctant to actually do something about it, with politicians telling us that the flu "cannot be contained" and doctors not being supplied with the necessary equipment, such as face masks and swabs to test people for it.

How can you contain a readily transmittable pathogen? Isolating each and every member of the population isn't possible not to mention it would crash our economy.

Travel bans in and out of the country would have been the only possible way of containing the disease, then again that wasn't possible initially given our lack of knowledge on the disease. Likewise abandoning our citizens by denying them entry into the UK isn't exactly a nice prospect. Either way they're going to attract controversy, whether it's judged as being too harsh or being too lax, just like the Police, the health service, etc.

Face masks offer little or no protection against swine flu or any other pathogen:wink:

jannike
At the moment, materials and treatments have to be ordered on a singular basis after a doctor has confirmed the symptoms in a patient; not very efficient, eh?

Our main/only weapon against Swine Flu is Tami Flu. Now Tami Flu only treats the symptoms of the illness, it isn't a vaccine. So sure, you can administer all available doses to the public, but when the pandemic does actually hit they're going to need a second dose which is then impossible because you're exhausted all available stocks. For your knowledge our health service only has enough doses for approximately one half of the population.

jannike
It certainly does not appear as though authorities are trying their hardest to contain the disease, and seem to have given up to some degree.

What CAN they do? If you think you can do better I'm sure they'd love to hear from you (or laugh at you for your lack of experience and knowledge).

There is a lot of evidence, therefore, to back the theory that it is all a Capitalist cover-up. It does appear to be a very real disease, however, so are you suggesting that some members of the bourgeois have created this disease and released it amongst the human race on purpose, or that they are only taking advantage of a naturally occurring situation?

Socialist Economists predicted this financial crisis. That's the greatest conspiracy of all. They planned it all along. Clearly.
Reply 34
Sigh, of course it's not a government conspiracy.

The 'We are so much more intelligent than you, we see behind the government conspiracys, everyone else is just an obedient, brainwashed fool!" is the mindset of a complete tool in my opinion. Remember when it was like "Oh you believe whatever the government says, you're such an idiot!", now it's "Oh you think everything the government does is some sort of conspiracy, you're such an idiot!" - it's gone full circle.

If you were to say that perhaps the government are emphasising the outbreak a little more strongly than they otherwise would have, to try and temporarily distract people from the economic situation then I would probably agree with you. But if you were to say that the government created the virus themselves then that is just completely stupid in my opinion - the negatives of the virus are going to greatly outweigh any positives for the government, that come from it.
Reply 35
I'm sure the filthy capitalists are taking the opportunity to make the most of this financially; there seems to be an overwhelming media response to a relatively small number of cases (considering the annual death tolls of similar strains). But a cover up? Nah.
Reply 36
Capitalists are not immune to this disease.
pfft just because this virus might have been genetically engineered doesn't mean it has been released so capitalist countries can sell vaccines or what ever. It's so that they can see how a virus can spread throughout the world and so they will monitor how fast this thing spreads. It's so that when they finally release a perfected version of uroboros they will have an idea of how quickly the entire world will be infected. Pretty obvious tbh.:p:

Why would capitalists want to kill the people they need to labour for them and buy their products so they can make profits?

Just as the world's capitalist economies slide into the abyss and the toiling proletarian masses begin to revolt, suddenly there appears a timely distraction to unite all the ignorant proletarians with their superior bourgeois leaders who will now be able to regain control peacefully and lead a united movement against this terrible disease.

Coincidence or capitalist conspiracy? Seems quite clear to me. Discuss.

coincidene obviously..........NOT

very few coincidences are actually coincidences, ill leave it there
