Default Royal Holloway no.22 in the Independent Complete Guide 2009/2010

It's not bad, it is the same position as last year so at least it isn't a fall. Kings College isn't that much higher at no.17. I also think that the RH rankings will go up when it merges with St Georges.

not many people see the independent as credible for some reason, but RH is really good.

The Times seems to be the gold standard. But I've always found that the Indie Complete Guide is more thorough. Although it is left-leaning, I think it is more objective with league tables than say The Guardian is.

But it will be interesting to see how RH does with The Times this year. Things are a little sporadic, 2009-30, 2008-24, 2007-12.

I would imagine that it will get back into the early twenties?

The data they are using is so out of date. They carry to little weight on the RAE.
