Re: Interview at Jack WillsI would wear some smart dark wash skinny jeans and a stripey shirt with a jumper over with boots or cute ballarinas...so preppy but not like you can't think outside the JW box.(Original post by Bubble_m)
Yuh thats my point. I've never gone for an interview in the retail industry, my previous jobs have obviously dictated smart skirts, shirts and heels.
I'm not sure if i applied for a clothes shop if i should dress up in their style. -
Re: Interview at Jack Willshmmm. good point! i dont know then what you would wear(Original post by minimo)
thing is though, Jack Wills is the antithesis to that style of dressing
, you could wear some smart jeans (dark) and a JW shirt (or a shirt in a similar style as you say you don't have any JW items) and then some heels. Or try the layering look
sorry not much help!! -

Just go smart but avoid suit - you'll be fine..
when you applied for any clothes shop not just JW, i am sure there are certain things you have to wear. Same with any other works place, it called uniform my dear. -

Re: Interview at Jack Wills£6-ish an hour, but with 85% discount if you stay long enough. However, students only get a maximum of 4 hours of work a week which is terrible.(Original post by charlotte_lambert)
Does anyone no the salary at jack wills? -
Re: Interview at Jack WillsDiscount is not a set percentage and the only time you aren't entitled to it is on your probationary period which is 3 months. I think that's reasonable and totally understandable, it'd be the same anywhere else. Contracts are 4 hours a week unless you're a manager or supervisor but I've never just worked 4 hours on any week and I've been working for the company for quite some time. If you ask for more hours you get them, but at the same time if you want to just work the 4 hours then you can which suits some people.(Original post by RoseH)
