Voted Lib Dem in the TSR elections

Will most likely vote Labour in the real thing though (depending on how the party conducts itself between now and the general election)

Interesting. Why the discrepancy?

You must be a new Labour supporter. :p:

You voted TSR Lib Dems cause TSR Labour are too socialist. But won't vote for Lib Dems in RL because Nick Clegg is a tory in disguise and Vince Cable says things like I would like a coalition with the Conservatives.

Am I right? haha
Voted conservative... thats who I will vote in RL too... my parents still vote labour... dunno why though, labour takes all their money!

Yup :p: From reading the manifestos, I got the impression that the TSR Labour party are just too socialist for my liking. The TSR Lib Dems had a balanced, well-written and wide-ranging manifesto that I agreed with, so I went for them :yep:

I don't think the results shown here will reflect the final vote at all.

:ditto:
In other news, should be fairly obvious who I voted for.

Glad you liked the manifesto ;-) only party manifesto to be positive instead of attacking other parties.

Please enlighten us :p:

I can't help but agree, these results will not reflect the eventual outcome.
I think one feature of the election results will be how Kolya's eaten into the Lib Dem vote - and thus, made it so that the right wing parties will have a chunk more power.

Prehaps, but hopefuly there will not be a right wing majority. Its odvious that kolya will get a seat. Kolya could also join us. I was hoping that people would see the problems of the big brother state and vote for us to remove it.

this is what baffles me- that should be one of the hot potatoes (politically speaking) of the moment, bringing the libertarians more votes surely?

But there's also the fact that many people are convinced by the socialist account of the financial crisis.

The libertarians seem to be doing better than usuall, probably due to a powerful manifesto. Tories are doing well, probably to to their real life success. In the tsr hoc the libertarians and us often agree on social issues. Its economicaly we disagree.

Yes, thats more economic, and thus we disagree with abolishing it. Our ideology is that for true equality people must be equal, thus buisiness needs more regulation. We do agree on us needing less state control. For example libertarians supported our bill to legalise cannabis, while we supported the libertarian bill to legalise brothles.

Looks here its touch and go whether I get a seat.

You only need 2% of the vote, I think, so you probably will.

In fact, if you were a party, and the above was the final result, you'd win 2 seats (and Kolya would have 4).
hm, I wonder how accurate this exit poll is going to be in comparison to teh actual thread... as I can see both I know... but i wonder what your thoughts on this are?

I reckon that the Tories, the Lib Dems and Labour will all have a slightly higher % of votes as the casual TSR-er (i.e. less likely to search for/click on this thread) would be more likely to vote for them.

Just a hunch, though.

at present based on the exit polls the results look like this:

Conservative - 18
Socialist - 10
Liberal Democrat - 8
Libertarian - 6
Labour - 6
Kolya - 1
01kij114 - 1

though as I've already said it may not be accurate representation due to the current general election thread having more than twice the voters than the exit poll.
