    O2 - texts unlimited
Hey, I was looking at doing this today to get texts unlimited - I just have a few questions if someone could possibly help me with if they use this service...

    1. It says you have to change your SIM card, is it possible to do this without changing your mobile number?

    2. Do you have to top up £10 EVERY month or is it just when you top up £10 you'll get unlimited texts for one month?

    Thanks in advance!

    1. Yes you can change your sim card and keep your number.

    2. Top up £1O and get your unlimited texts.

Top of £15 for unlimited calls and texts, even better

I didn't have to change my sim card to get that deal, however I already had the 300 texts for £10 deal. Or whatever it was. But I think if you phone them you can keep your number

You don't have to top up EVERY month, but top up £15 and its 02-02 minutes as well

Quick tip that i only recently found out.
    When mobile networks advertise "unlimited"
It is NEVER unlimited, as this can lose them money, it is usually a high limit that you will never reach.
But such things as unlimited minutes/texts/web does not exist, so read the small print, or ask your network provider!

I got the 300 texts for £10, 500 texts for £15 deal, but I found out that if I topped up on exactly the day my month was up, I got the free nexts for the next price range instead.. so 500 texts for £10, 'unlimited' for £15 etc. I have no idea why it's like this, when I mentioned it in the O2 shop whilst looking to change my phone, the shop lady said it wasn't normal but not to mention it to customer services cos I'd probably lose it if they knew. So yeah, O2 rocks

I had to push myself to send 500 texts in a month so anything over a thousand is practically unlimited to me :P

You can get your number swaped onto the new sim card- thats what i did

No, i top up £10 at the start then use up all my texts during the month, then use up my £10 credit, so it tends to be that i top up once every 1 1/2 to 2 months.

    Thanks in advance!

I got that as well, I added another £10 on the same day of the following month, and instead of getting 300 I got 500 more , as I guess We'd topped up with atleast £15 within 1 month, yet Id already used alot of texts off of the previous 300.......maybe my new allowance went up to 500, not another 500 ontop

anyways who cares. o2 = :awesome:
