Re: Cancelling O2 Contract taken out with the CPW
argh o2 suck! The cut me off after i paid my bill lol.. no sense.
Don't forget to cancel the direct debit with your bank if you have one, it's no good just cancelling with the company. My boyfriend ended his contract with 3 and for months was wondering why money kept disappearing out of his account, it was only until he checked with his bank that the direct debit was still active which means the bank can accept requests for money... as a result 3 are now arguing with him claiming he did not cancel his cojntract when we still have all the paper work to prove it, and are refusing to pay him back 8 months worth of bills...
so yeh.. cancel it with your bank as well!!
Also beware with o2.. when my contract ended last year some **** on the phone was trying to get me into a more expensive contract despite me repeatedly telling him i was a student and wouldn't be willing to pay 30 odd quid a month. Be abrupt with them if you have to, I've been with them for 4 years and havent been offered any discounts or benefits lol -
Re: Cancelling O2 Contract taken out with the CPW
If your bill says Carphone Warehouse on it, then your service is provided by "CPWO2" and you will need to contact Carphone Warehouse O2, on 0870 111 7200. You'll need to request a PAC code to move to O2 direct.
If your bill doesn't say Carphone Warehouse, it is most likely that you are billed directly from O2, and they are contactable on 202. Note however, if this is the case, you'll be staying on O2 and upgrading/migrating your current contract rather than taking out a new one per se. -
Re: Cancelling O2 Contract taken out with the CPWThat's really strange, i just finished a 12 month contract and got a Nokia 5800, 600 minutes, 1000 texts and unlimited internet for £20 a month, which destroys any competitors deals. On a new 18 month contract with them, never had a problem with O2...(Original post by Sikthchick)
