This, the rules of grammar exist for a reason.

People go on about how 'it doesn't matter if I get "your" and "you're" confused'

I hate to break it to you: yes it does. You do that on an important document in the workplace or in a job application, it's going to reflect badly on you.
Argh, bad grammar annoys me.

In forums, I don't mind that much really. But in everyday life, common grammar mistakes are just annoying!
