Higher English: Help with Personification

Hey all.

Quick question. Read this and see if it makes sense:

"Bubbles gargled delicately"

The personification of the bubbles conveys to the reader a peaceful, relaxing image of the atmosphere. The word "Delicately" shows the surroundings to be quiet and by no means a harsh place which helps build up a vivid image of the swamp.

Does that make sense at all?
