higher english close reading last question

can anyone help me? i have no idea what to write for the evaluation question on both passages in close reading. i've tried them in the past and i never get any marks for them. i just dont understand what you are supposed to write. its a lot of marks to lose. any advice on how to answer these would be appreciatted!!

My teacher always described them as a mini-essay, as you are trying to convince the marker you can give your opinion on language styles etc. You also need to sum up etc at the end with a conclusion of how you came to prefer one of the articles over the other.
