I dont think the Dizzee Rascal writes his own twitter as its all advertising I think its run by his management/publicist. Trust me if Dizzee Rascal had a personal twitter- I would've joined it a long time ago!

Okay, I just created an account. It's that all there is to it, just updating what you're currently doing?

And so begins the posting of morons who've never used it. Twitter is not facebook, or anything like it.
I have used Twitter.. I was just saying I prefer Facebook!!

It looks good, seems to have less of the Facebook '900 friends, 10,000 pictures' competition going on.

Ehh, my friends have been harping on about it for months, I only signed up to see what the hype was about. I still don't understand what all the hype is about, this is just like Facebook but with just the status updates. Not exciting at all.

I like it. I see it as being much different from other social networking sites. It gets quite addictive, though; I have Tweetdeck and Twitterific on my iPhone and I really like being able to 'post' what I am doing or thinking or feeling at the moment. Plus, it's cheaper than a txt message when both my girlfriend and I are signed in, in different places.
I am so addicted to Twitter now D: I use Twhirl and TwitterBerry and I update every few minutes. I'm seriously considering either deleting it or forcing myself to cut back. Ahhhh that sounds so sad. Especially as its so pointless

I know what you mean, but, that's what it is there for and if you're using it to it's full potential, there's nothing wrong with that. I mean, I keep my updates private but I have a list of people who I allow to follow and while I reply to them if I feel the need, it is primarily for myself. I see it as a quick and simple way of blogging.

    Cool, thank you

How long have you had it for? And do you get annoying emails everytime something happens?
Have used twitter for a couple of months or so.

no annoying emails except for when you get a new follower (someone who will now see your tweets, updates).
I use 'twitterfox' in firefox which shows me all the new updates and its really not annoying at all.

If celebrities weren’t there Twitter would not attracted too many people. As students you should rather check out Schooly. It looks really good and it’s for the UK. Maybe you will find out some celebs have gone to your school

    If you wanna check: schooly.co.uk

    Re: Twitter
I spent a long time avoiding Twitter, as it just seemed like a celebrity-stalking tool to me and I'm not into celebrity culture at all; but I joined up last week due to work, and I'm going to start using it more from this weekend onwards.

Noo you're not addicted, think of it as: 'Me time', but on the net.

It doesn't sound bad at all.

Time for you to express your creativity, write poems etc.
