Je préfère le français à l'espagnol. En fait, j'aime pas l'espagnol, donc bon…
Kim, happy to see you in here :top2:

The way to type all vowels with the acute accent is to type "alt gr + the vowel".

Conversely, change your keyboard to do a different language and learn its layout so you can type using it. My keyboard is constantly set to the Icelandic setting. It allows me a wide range of accents.

Oh that's quite helpful seeing as é is quite common in french. Might look into changing my keyboard language
I have some questions about french grammar, I'm stuck on tenses.

When writing along the lines of 'after watching the show' or 'after writing a letter', what tense should be used? I want to use the imperfect but something isn't quite feeling right :frown: If you could explain why I would love you forever

Hope someone's here 'cause I'm gona have loads more questions for this bloody revision.

As in like "après avoir regardé l'émission" or "après avoir écrit une lettre", you can use the present or the imperfect, or even the future:

Present: "après avoir écrit cette lettre, je la poste"
Imperfect: "après avoir écrit cette lettre, je la postais puis…"
Future: "après avoir écrit cette lettre, je la posterais"

Sorry I meant what tense would the bit in brackets be. So I presume it would always be the passé composé? Something made me want to choose the imparfait, maybe the 'ing' in the sentence.

I currently do French and German at A Level but I'm doing French and Spanish ab initio at Cardiff in September (grades permitting of course ).

Buenos tardes! Hmm, es dificil decir en este momento, pero estoy pensando que iré a la universidad de Exeter...solamente porque está cerca de una playa...

Y tú? Vas a estudiar tres lenguas? Impresionante

Oooh k, vale! Así, estás estudiando para los A levels en este momento?

Sí, espero que voy a ir a Birmingham para estudiar francés, espanol y italiano ... pero hay una posibilidad que estudiará el alemán en vez del italiano ...

Hola guapos/guapas!!

Estudio Español 'A' Level pero estudiaré Español, Ruso, y Holandés a la universidad (pues, espero que sí!)

Are there any Russian/Dutch speakers who could give me a few tips on learning the languages or some basic vocab/grammar?

Also any German/Greek/Portuguese speakers (but this is just because I'm a language geek and want to learn them for the sakes!)

I'll give out reps!

Buenos noches  Que impresionante! Tres lenguas muy diferentes (y probablemente sean muy dificiles!). Me encanta aprendiendo de nuevas idomas pero nada se compara al Español :woo:
