Re: Commutable Address Reject.Hey(Original post by ...NKC...)
Whereabouts are you from or how far in miles do you live from the university, if you don't mind me asking?
I live about 45 minuites on the train to London (I live in Hertfordshire - Berkhamsted). And then from Euston to Mile End that is another 30 mins.So in total about 1hour 15 mins. This doesnt obviously include walking to my home town station/ Mile End to QM, or allowing for train changes/rush hour etc.
Im just hoping that i don't get rejected as i dont have a London postcode or have any real knowledge of London.Living at home is really not an option for me!!!! -
Re: Commutable Address Reject.I believe to calculate "commutable" distance. They use the TfL journey calculator. Postcode to Postcode. Give it a try and if yours is over 1hr30 you have nothing to worry about. If between 1hr and 1hr30 you might get in.(Original post by .Scout.)

Thanks for that, i've just checked and journey times vary from 1:34 and 1:45 so just over the limit. I do have a medical condition too making commuting in a little difficult! -

Re: Commutable Address Reject.I am! There are some really nice big houses really close to QM. If you had like a 5 bed house and could get the people together I don't think you'd lose out all that much on the whole "halls experience."(Original post by Sweet_poison)
Is anybody who couldnt get into uni halls thinking of a house share for their first year?? -
Re: Commutable Address Reject.I got rejected from halls as well but i really ont want to be living at home!(Original post by TheLittleJ-Bird)
