I'll presume it did, now question 7!

7) (a) new posn= old posn + vt
8i +11j =3i-4j +2.5 v

rearrange: v = (2i+6j)

b)
new posn = old posn + vt
3i-4j + (2i+6j)t
= (3+2t)i +(6t-4)j

c) let i's =
and js=

-9+6t = 3+2t
t=3

20 +lambda t= 6t-4
sub in 3
20+3lambda = 18
lambda=-2

d)b: 6^2+2^2 = sq root 40
same for the other one

because it takes that speed to get back to the same position, ... hard to explain like this..
