-draw bonding of ethanol with water I think.
-define carbon neutrality
-why the fuels aren't carbon neutral
-choosing the best fuel, effect on society

To be honest, i'm not sure it's wise or useful to be trying to go through which questions there were now, as i doubt anyone can remember them clearly...

I'm re-sitting units 1 and 2 this january and I'm trying to find resources for the new edexcel syllabus. I can't seem to find any notes on green chemistry - except for the ones posted by Draconis (which were amazing btw!) or the other new points which have been added to the syllabus. For example, Discuss the reasons for developing alternative fuels in terms of sustainability and reducing emissions, including the emission of CO2 and its relationship to climate change.

Help please! Does anyone know any websites which have been updated to include notes on this?

CGP Revision Guide FTW! No seriously, i know their stuff is usually the bare minimum but i've actually found this guide really useful. It has exactly what is in the specification, nothing more and nothing less :smile:

TRUE! i managed to get an A in my unit 1 mock and i only used CGP :smile:

So...I haven't found a thread for it yet. So I thought I might create one! :biggrin:

I'm sitting both units on the 3rd of June 2009!

I sat Unit 1 in Jan and got a B.

Thought this could be a cool place to trade notes, discuss questions and general exam stuff! I'm Creating a similar thread for AQA New Spec Biology too!

Only thing I couldn't see there was that they are using microwaves more as alternatives to heat up solutions in laboratories as it is more green and efficient.
