D2 Maximin examples

Hi everyone. I came across this exam question, seems simple enough really, but for whatever reason, I'm really struggling to come up with an answer.

Give an example of a situation that would require a maximin solution.

I want a situation that's simple enough for someone to relate to...

For example, I was going to say:

The weights on the arcs represent altitude, and a hiker wants to traverse a distance in such a way, that the minimum altitude between points on his root are as large as possible. That would work, but I just can't think of an underlying reason as to why the stupid hiker would want this!!
The weights on the arcs are the maximum loads of bridges on various routes traversed by lorries. The lorry company wants to use the largest possible lorry to minimise costs, and so needs the weakest bridge to be as strong as possible.

Good idea, thank you!
