whats the question?
you do 48.9/79.9 x 100 to find the percentage of Ti in the TiO2... then times this by 0.95 because the sample contains 95% by mass... i get the answer to be C 57%
fd_123
Titanium ore is processed to give a concentrate containing 95%, by mass,
of titanium(IV) oxide. The percentage by mass of titanium in this concentrate is
A 25
B 39
C 57
D 76

Mr of TiO2=79.9
Mr of Ti=47.9

I think the answers C=57
47.9/79.9 * 95 = 56.95

Hopefully this is right!
