what do you think the cut off scores for this year will be?

Maybe a little higher than usual, although most have been slightly lower than the standard 50,60, 70% cut offs in previous years, if I remember right.
yay i got 23 on the multiple choice i have a few questions can anyone help?
on question 7 what was a i got 4 but im not sure.
also in the biotech part what was 2b? the picture of the fermented yoghurt sample?
and in the biotech wat was another way of making silage. was it in silos - isn't that the same as wrapping or maybe it was a fermentor or something?
oh yeh and in part 4d i didn't do that bit well i had so little time.

Can't help you in biotech, didn't do it :wink:

7 a) Reaction rate is 6 initially, half of the max rate is 3. You just follow the graph, and substrate concentration is 50. So "50" would get you the mark, they usually wouldn't take marks off for not having units if it's provided in the question.
Here are the cut off scores for this years exam

A- 66%
B- 56%
C- 46%

So actually cut off's have been lowered when lots of people thought they would rise slightly.
