AQA Physics A, Unit 2 (new) - single slit diffraction?

does anyone doing this syllabus know if we need to know the formula for single-slit diffraction (i.e. when you get a minimum, etc.) as it seems to come up in the old style questions, but I am sure that we haven't covered it.

Anyone?

i think theres two formulae related to single slit diffraction...

which one are you referring to?

im pretty sure the formulae are given however..
