I have an interview tomorrow and its going to be boiling. Could I get away with wearing smart shorts and a short sleeved shirt and heels do you think?

Please help, I get hot normally anyway in trousers and a shirt so I wud be sweating like a pig tomorrow.

Don't see why you shouldn't be fine in that outfit though, as long as the shorts aren't too short! I'm wearing a ruffled blouse without sleeves and a highwaisted grey skirt. unsure about shoes though

Shorts to an interview? Shorts? Ridiculous. Wear a linen skirt or something (although it depends on the job - if this is something for which you'd wear a suit in the winter, you should wear a suit now). I wouldn't wear a short sleeved shirt either, but it's probably more ok for a woman than for a man. Ideally you should wear a lightweight jacket as well, but again that's stricter for men.

as for the a long sleeved short omg I really would boil I wear short sleeved even when its not that hot so think i'll be ok.

27 degrees?!?! wear a suit. suck it up. want to know the daily high where i live today? 45. next month it will push 50 through till august. if i see people wearing suits in that, you can suffer it.

It would probably be a good idea if you said what position you were interviewing for. If it is an ultra-casual, I.T. type thing, then this would be fine. But for most jobs, shorts would definitely be a no-no. The lack of a jacket might be as well.

No it won't. The hottest temperature ever recorded for the whole of Europe is 50 degrees. Peak regional temperature last year across the globe was 52 degrees in Death Valley.

If they're city shorts, I don't see what the problem is. As long as they are tailored.

I'd just wear a smart sleeveless blouse with a skirt and heels? That's pretty smart IMO.
