Why does Cambridge produce better Engineers compared to Imperial and Oxford?
You can't compare Oxbridge engineering with Imperial's as Oxbridge specialises in third year, whereas it's first year in Imperial.
But GENERALLY SPEAKING:
Cambridge/Imperial > Oxford
Though it depends on the type of engineering. Tbh, either way, you will get a good degree (providing you work hard) at either uni.

It doesn't. Neither are Cambridge or Imperial better than Oxford.

I don't see how you can clearly separate the three, and for me it'd be down to where i'd be happiest for three or four years.

Yes, I visited Oxford, nice place, but I felt it wasn't for me. Also, I knew what engineering I wanted to do for years, so I don't feel the need to spend the first 2 years deciding.

It can be argued that it is definately the other way round as Imperial has the best course structure in the country for any specialised branch of engg. However Oxbridge allow u to delay ur choice till 3rd year i think.
