This is my sentiment. When I first heard their material (and we're talking early 90s) I didn't mind it. If anything, I even liked it, but now they're just relying on the same generic formula. They churn out album after album of this cheesy melodic dance music, which has become annoying. Some fans will say it's their signature style, but this doesn't excuse the repetitiveness. I wouldn't mind if there was some serious variation. They should experiment beyond the eery circus approach.
