im so academic have you seen the 2010 paper. Ill send it too you maaaan want you too get an A* :P lol. Its the last questions kind of dum. It said why should limestone be left to dry ideally in an argon atmosphere?

Hmm, I presume the answer would be so the limestone would not decompose due to the fact that argon is a non-reactive substance and cannot react with the limestone.

i took this paper as a mock exam :smile: but the answer is because argon is a noble gas in is virtually unreactive, although this would be expensive as there is only a small amount of argon present in our noraml atmosphere. xx
