foundation always looks orange on me

As others suggest - you need to try a brand that makes the correct shade for you. Remember that cosmetic companies do NOT stock shades to match every skintone out there - they want to provide as few shades as possible to cover the majority of their customers, because that's what's most profitable. So - your best bet is to try a brand that specialises in providing a very wide range of shades - my suggestions would be Bobbi Brown and Illamasqua. If you visit a counter they can try it on you, and more importantly, give you a small sample to take home so you can be sure you have the right product. (Most counters are happy to do that if you bring along a small container). If you're having to thin down the formula or cover your neck in foundation then you have the wrong shade!!
ivory nude is an orangey colour.
i know this because i bought it before, it looks really pale in the tube and actually its just orange muck.

i have pale skin and use the lightest foundation they sell, nude ivory,i think. but it still looks orange when compared to my white neck.
i didnt think makeup had much effect on me, but when i see others without makeup its quite shocking, so i want to wear make up.
but other peoples skin doesnt even have a tint of foundation colour, even though they obviously are wearing foundation.

in some lights it can look ok, if im not standin really close to the mirror, but in a room with alot of natural light, it just looks tinted orange and you can tell im wearing it

I had this problem using maybelline

Use Loreal true match in the lightest shade

I have that problem too. Have you tried anything from everydayminerals.com ? They're products are great and are very reasonably priced. Or, Estee Lauder Double Wear do quite pale shades, I think "Shell" might be the palest.

Im exactly the same :beard: .. but then i found body shop foundation. I have the lightest shade, if you go in they will match you. I found that if you apply a light coat of Moisturizer they apply the foundation mixed with a little bit of Moisturizer and top up where you need most coverage you loose the full on orange glow. Plus its only £12 and lasts for ages because of the pump styled bottle :yep:
Hope this helps, let us know how you get on

😂👌
I have the same problem I have tried several foundations but none match my pale neck. I seriously look like a umpa lumpa! Any suggestions??
Why don't you try a foundation with more of a pink undertone as that will help combat that orange look that other foundations are giving you.
Maybe you can use liquid foundation instead of a normal one or BB cream.
