- Alex is leaving to go to Thailand? Or something? idk i hadn't remembered it being mentioned but he left just as pointlessly as he arrived
- Also he had a classic skins 'leaving party' in an abandoned swimming pool or something at which Mini went into labour (apparently having recovered from looking like she was miscarrying last episode)
- Followed by a really cringey giving-birth scene that must have been so embarassing to film
- Frankie was a dick, ran away to her old house trying to find her mum, found her sister instead, stole her ring, it turned out that her mum wasn't dead after all and she went to some mental institution(?) to see her
- Matty and Nick chased around after her for no reason for most of the episode then decided that they didn't love Frankie, they actually loved each other (ooer)
- Dead Grace appeared throughout snogging Rich

O_o Fair enough. Skins doesn't seem like one to care about avoiding continuity errors; I recall a character getting into Harvard despite having no formal qualifications and based on a non-existent athletic scholarship. ^_~

This last episode seemed so rushed and compact, just like the last episode in Series 4 also. Too much happened in that time, and at the end it was still a bit like "What? That's it?"

Let's hope next series ties up all loose ends properly, once and for all.

It astounds me how an 18-year-old gets into a lorry without questioning if it's dangerous, and then, surprise, surprise! The lovely lorry driver turns up at the right time and happens to be going back to Bristol.
I think the only thing I really liked was the time we saw Rich (which totalled...five minutes altogether?). Someone referenced Romeo and Juliet and the bit in the pool where they kissed I thought was clever, since Romeo+Juliet kiss in the Baz Luhrmann film. And it was kinda sweet at the end, how he said "Bye", kind of like Grace was reincarnated in the baby.

Hahaha! I remember thinking how much he'd been such a pointless character, but then again, this whole series has been a mash of pointless characters/bad acting/too many plots.
Did anyone think that Franky's house looked similar to Tony and Effy's house? Or am I just being a bit dim?

I totally agree. I didn't think she really suited either of them much, and then all their apparent declarations of love were just rather cringey . It's a bit like they were trying to reincarnate that love triangle from Gen 2 but failed, because I thought Effy/Freddie/Cook actually made sense.
