Six term year for schools
Good thing - bad thing?
For those who haven;t heard it's a 6 term arrangement with two weeks
hols Christmas, October and Easter and a 5 week break in June/July -
back 1st August. John

That's not that much different to the present system is it? (Can't
remember, school was soo long ago); I assumed that summer holidays would
be reduced to at least 4 weeks. Anyway, anything that reduces the summer
holidays has to be good; I remember being relentlessly bored after the
first two weeks, as we never went away on holiday during the six weeks
as it was too expensive.
