Re: What did YOU learn from study leave?

The question is: what have you learn from your study leave/revision period and what do you think you will and won't do? Is there anything that seemed relatively useless, and didn't benefit you, or is there something that you know you need to work on to improve you exam prep?
Personally, something that seemed to become useless while I was revising were sticky notes. After countless recommendations as to how 'good' these were, I found that constant reading of these (after revising the facts themselves) actually contributed very little. Instead I replaced them with revision cards, writing questions so that I was able to answer each one (and these seemed considerably more beneficial, and hopefully were).
Also, something that I'm going to improve for next year is that I will plan my revision in considerable advance. I've learnt, and will, hopefully, be able to apply it in Year 13, results permitting, that it is never too early to start revision.
Note: this applies to AS and A2 students; everyone can post here.
Fire away!
I didn't have a study period, but my study style (semantic), revision and how to stay awake (i.e. herbal teas, reckless for sleepless nights =P )... Starting revision earlier and a normal sleeping pattern?
