Re: Ask the speakerI guess it depends on whether he's banned at the mid point, which is the chance for it to be declared vacant.(Original post by Morgsie)
What is going to happen to JPKC's Seat? -
Re: Ask the speakerI'm having trouble admitting people to the usergroup. I've posted in AASM and haven't got a reply of any kind so far. Just alerting you to the issue.(Original post by Metrobeans)

Re: Ask the speakerThey will get back to you when they can.(Original post by toronto353)
I'm having trouble admitting people to the usergroup. I've posted in AASM and haven't got a reply of any kind so far. Just alerting you to the issue.
I normally post in AASM regarding new Members who I have approved but does not come up on their profile including those new to TSR. -
Re: Ask the speakerNo I know, but they usually 'tag' the thread which they haven't done yet and I've reported the problem a few hours ago. It's not that because they haven't got access to the forum and can apply again to join.(Original post by Morgsie)

Re: Ask the speakerIf he hasn't posted in here or voted in 4 weeks, I'll declare him inactive and set a by-election in motion.(Original post by Morgsie)

Re: Ask the speakerJust an update on the usergroup issue. Apparently the above issue occurs from time to time. If it does, then the supermods will need to manually approve people into usergroups.(Original post by Metrobeans)

Re: Ask the speakerThere's no option to vote clause by clause.(Original post by Morgsie)
Is there an option to vote clause by clause on stuff?
I want to vote against one item in the Rail Petition and vote in favour of the other items. -
Re: Ask the speakerDamn. Thanks anyway.(Original post by Metrobeans)
There's no option to vote clause by clause. -

Re: Ask the speakerThat's what happened when I first joined the MHoC. I think it would be a wise idea to have some sort of an announcement made to all new members to request to join a particular usergroups in the Ask a Moderator/Super-Mod forum section?(Original post by toronto353)

Re: Ask the speakerI think that as all party leaders and supermods are aware of the issue, there isn't much need much for an announcement in AASM, but that isn't my decision to make.(Original post by RoryS)

Re: Ask the speakerOkay - I just thought it might be helpful as it may put off new members from joining us.(Original post by Metrobeans)
I think that as all party leaders and supermods are aware of the issue, there isn't much need much for an announcement in AASM, but that isn't my decision to make.
I also meant an announcement in our forum, MHoC... -
Re: Ask the speakerParty leaders keeping on top of their join requests should notice if someone they've accepted hasn't been added to the usergroup. They'll be able to contact the supers to fix the issue and advise the new member accordingly.(Original post by RoryS)
Okay - I just thought it might be helpful as it may put off new members from joining us.

Party leaders keeping on top of their join requests should notice if someone they've accepted hasn't been added to the usergroup. They'll be able to contact the supers to fix the issue and advise the new member accordingly.

Re: Ask the speakerYep. If an independent MP joins a party, they bring their seat with them.(Original post by MacCuishy)
JPKC has joined the Socialists - does that mean he carries his seat over? That would give the Socialists 8 seats if I'm not correct and all the wiki pages will need to be updated. -
Re: Ask the speakerI think somebody needs to update the wiki(Original post by TheCrackInTime)
Yep. If an independent MP joins a party, they bring their seat with them.

Re: Ask the speakerNope. The name can stay the same, but it will be treated as a new bill and assigned a new bill number.(Original post by Moleman1996)
If we've missed the cessation deadline, then if we resubmit a bill do we need to change its name? -
Re: Ask the speakerSo, in practical terms, there's no point in bills entering cessation, having only 3 readings and bills being withdrawn?(Original post by TheCrackInTime)
Nope. The name can stay the same, but it will be treated as a new bill and assigned a new bill number.
