not very much tbh. worked my ass of on coursework and speaking prep, but i was lucky because i took 3 subjects that i really enjoyed and was good at, so didnt have to work so much.
Did very little for summer exams. Expecting to get rejected from my firm and insurance.

I did nothing until like the last fortnight before exams, when I realised I knew NOTHING and had better hurry up or I'd fail.

It worked a bit, but I don't think I could do those papers again and do ok. I'm not really looking forward to results, I'm so unsure of how I did!

Same here!

I crammed for about a week and a half before the exams. Not sure how any of them went, i usually think i've done well and then haven't, and vice versa. As long as i get all C's and above i'll be happy.
quite hard for ASs, built up reasonable buffers, a little harder for Jan exams, then an epic drop in my effort rate just in time for the most important set of exams lol.
OP, I'm not a fan of the options in the poll. I NEVER do past papers in my own time, they are so long lol. I do a few in lessons if we have to. My revision consists of making fresh notes from the textbook and a incy bit of wider learning from websites. I nonetheless, most probably put an inadequate amount of revision in :frown: And its only my fault if I've flopped

Did my hardest which is never good enough

i know!

It depends on the subject. With chemistry, you can spend ages revising and there'll still be lots of things you can't remember. Physics needs quite a bit of revision but it tends to be a lot easier than chemistry. With maths and further maths, I find I can usually get up to a high A after one or two past papers.

if you do little work but get good grades you select no.2, there is no way you can do **** all aand get amazing grades, I know someone who works there ass of and just scraped AAA to get into Oxford a couple of years back.

maths i did **** all and got an A
A-levels are mad. Do a BTEC.
I made sure that I worked constantly from the very beginning, but I do admit to being biased to one subject (that being Psychology - 2 hours a day, compared to Biology - 1 hour) That was probably why I only got a C in my Jan exams for Bio:s-smilie: .
Not as much as I should have done :s-smilie:
I did revise quite a lot. But not enough I feel :frown:
I worked a LOT for one particular subject, not that much for my others. What am I meant to choose? :frown:

agreed !!!!
I think I socialised a whole lot more, rather than studying hard. I did do a few past paper questions though a few weeks before the exams for preparation.

Though i did not do as well as i wanted bcuz AS june 2009 exams were so frkn hard !!!
Physics Unit 2 ?
Chem. unit 2 ?
Bio unit 1 ?!?!?!
:'O
I basically worked hard in revision, but my productivity was pathetic. I was compensating for the lack of knowledge i had gained particularly in A2. One of my geography teachers (i wont name her for legal reasons) was crap, i learnt more in 5 days then i did in a whole year. Ok this was mainly due to my laissez-faire attitude but doesnt help when your teacher is s***. The whole education system grinds my gears lol
